“When we decided it was time to downsize, we had a wish list and thought that we would be better off by leaving Sydney and moving a little north to an area of less hustle and bustle.
The village’s main appeal was its close proximity to the beautiful Lake Macquarie – being only 30 metres off the foreshore – together with views over the ever-changing lake to Belmont, mild climate, beautiful and well cared for gardens, positive management attitude and spacious villas.
With the Community Centre, outdoor swimming pool and heated spa, and barbeque area, we are very happy with the makeup of the village. We love daily walks around the lake – which is a nature reserve in itself with all the birds in residence – and to meet and greet the friendly locals. The birds also come to meet and greet us on our balcony on many occasions. We have never regretted our move.”
